Sum 41 I consider Punk there's no way they're pop. They suck too.
And about his rock, yeah. His rock choices suck too. When Linkin Park stops whining about every little thing in their lyrics, maybe I'll like them.

Sum41 is coporate pop...............check any music store, they are in the pop/rock category.

Having tatoos and spiked hair doesn't make you punk............Blink 182, Sum 41, Good Charlotte.............all pop/rock...........they sing pop songs. Punk is not a look.......it's a sound, basically an "I don't give a fuck" sound...........they look the way the do because they think it is cool, not because they are some punk rocking rebels against the status quo.
