thanks everyone for the new reviews you posted! sorry that i haven't been getting around to updating the story, but here's a new summary that i came up with not long ago (the old one needed alot of changes so i started it over):

No one truly knows the inner Steve that he hides from the world, except maybe Sodapop. His best friend may understand him, but no one truly knows him. After Johnny and Dally died, Steve decides that it�s time to find someone who could understand him, except him for who he is. Tomorrow is just another day, and so he begins to learn to leave all that pain behind.
