This is just for all of those people that claim Darkseid's not that powerful, but instead a good strategist whose armies do everything for him. A Darkseid avatar, essentially his version of a GL construct, crushes an Apokoliptian rebellion:
This is a surprise attack of sorts. Still, Darkseid has no trouble restraining Orion, and more importantly, everyone present, including Highfather and Takion, beleive the Omega Beams could kill him. Oh, and yet again, Barda and Mr. Miracle don't even try to stop 'Seid, despite what he's doing to their champion:
For comparison, in Genesis, while Ares weilded the Godwave, check how handidly he overpowered a huge group of heroes. Takion is the only one who even slowed him down:
When the Godwave-wielding Ares reaches to crush DS and the others inside of his star-ship, Darkseid imprisons him, causing time and space itself to harden around the War God. Surprise was involved, but Ares remains held by 'Seid's power long enough for DS to explain the predicament to the heroes and for the Godwave to be dealt with:
Here's the story of the current Kanto, originally named Illuthin. Note that, despite the skills he later learned, Kanto 13 was stronger than him. Anyway, Darkseid steps in, and uses his Omega Beams to teleport Kanto through time:
In this story from JKFW, Kalibak has tapped into an ever-growing portion of Darkseid's power. Using the energies from Darkseid now flowing into him for the purpose of increaded strength, Kalibak defeats Orion. In case anyone's wondering, Orion was saved from death by Valkyra safricing herself to The Black Racer in his stead. Anyway, here's the fight:
After this, Metron freed Darkseid from The Source Wall, preventing Kalibak from draining any more power. Anyway, despite the additional power that Kalibak leeched from Darkseid after his battle with Orion, it doesn't quite look like what he drained was enough to close the power gap. See for yourself:
Darkseid contains and crushes a charging GL ring from an attempted attack by Raker Quarrigat, the greatest GL of his age. Also, notice the convo between Raker and the Guardians afterwards:
Darkseid attacks the Hal Spectre, who, due to Apokolips' evil nature, was murderous at the time, thus likely using his full power. Omega Beams actually make The Spectre express pain. Afterwards, Spectre does overpower 'Seid, but it takes a few opanel. Seems like DS' energy matched The Spectre's own for a moment, however briefly. Then Spectre vaporizes him, only for DS to reform because of his importance.
Something notable here. While Darkseid acknowledges he can't stop The Spectre from protecting Anomolie, Spectre acknowledges he can't stop 'Seid from following them wherever they go and attacking, at the cost of other lives:
When Superman gets too annoying, again, Darkseid blasts him away and smiles. Supes is stunned for a few panels even though his landing is cushioned by Plastic Man and GL combined. Also, J'onn seems to think The JLA would be well-suited not to pick a fight with DS, and Luthor agrees:
A few pages later, after Darkseid's explained, Superman wants none of his plans, so he attacks Darkseid. DS shrugs off his attacks, Supes hides from his beams behind the Aegis, then he flies away:
Darkseid battles Superman after having expended some power on Imperiex. As a result, his beams are less effective than normal, but still look more powerful than heat vision. Oh, and for those looking for strength showings, DS overpowers Supes in a contest of strength after one panel, and gets in a choke-hold. Supes does manage to break free after a moment or so, but it didn't look easy for him at all. DS does land the last attack before they're broken up:
After Imperiex-powered Warworld's attack, Apokolips is left drained of nearly all of its energy. Everything artificial on the planet but the Para-Demons are shut down.With his personal power restored through spiritual energy, Darkseid reignites the Firepits and recharges all the energy of Apokolips. Apparently, his personal power runs the place. Oh, yeah, Supes and WW thinkhis beams would destroy Warworld too:
Alright, this next Darkseid feat involves Secret after she'd fully realized her powers. Despero feared this potential, and in this issue, you can see why. Check out how ineffective beings like The Ray, Red Tornado, Superboy, and Wonder Girl are against her:
In this scene, Superman is slightly weakened due to a poison cloud on Apokolips messing with his sunlight. Orion's full power. They're facing a Hivemother alien. IIRC, in the previous Superman/Aliens, Superman at full power struggled against one of them and compared it to Doomsday. Anyway, here they'e both not having much success against it, up until Darkseid steps in:
Darkseid destroys the alien inside of Orion. Interestingly, his beam passes intangible through Orion and only harms the creature inside of him. Orion also seems surprised he's still alive after it lands. Then Darkseid lets him and Supes leave:
To take away confusion as to whether or not this is a feat denoting power, Darkseid's power level is stated as the reason for why this occured. Next page is also included for the plan:
Young Darkseid easily bashes one of his older self's servants, which were all top tier or second tier in power (hard to tell which one this is, to be honest):
Having gone through the servants in his way, young Darkseid is about to face his older self, before Orion attacks him. He shrugs off a blast of Astro-Force, easily manhandles him, and uses him to kill his older self:
Note, after his older self is dead, young Darkseid has no trouble mentally dominating the beings his older self was previous controlling, and forcing them to attack the Legion. These include a GL, a Martian, Lobo, Barda, and Firestorm:
After another change of reality, 'Seid is surprise attacked by two mid-tiers (Superboy and giant-sized Violet) and two upper tiers (Livewire/Element Lad amalgam and Kid Quantum). Because he's caught off-guard, they keep him off-balance long enough to knock him out of the Boom Tube. He shrugs their attacks off the second he lands, though:
From Loeb's recent S/B time travel storyline, one of Darkseid's arm's > both Etrigan's arms in strength. Now, this was while reality was being mucked with, but there was no indication there was a power-down, and Darkseid's actions here lead to the With A Veangance S/B arc, so I think we can safely say it's canon evidence:
That's all, folks. There are some showings that've come out since I made this, along with some earlier feats I stumbled on or was informed of. I'll probably add the extra feats tonight or within the next few days. There's only about 5 of them.
