Spiderman rocks. Favorite hero. LONG LIVE SPIDEY!!! And everyone knows hes stronger, faster, and just better than Wolverine in every area. Its just the Wolverine fanboys who try to say wolverine is better and they post comic fight scenes that were probably written while extremely high on marijuana. I mean they have spiderman, who is better in every way, get defeated by a statistically weaker character. Shame, shame.
that one punch that spidey landed on IM was 3x3000lbs thast 18000lbs whic is roughly a 8 ton punch by one hand ........spidey can definately bench around 20 tons now !

Sorry to rain on your parade, but people can generate lot more force by hitting things. That doesn't necessarily mean someone could lift as much.
Have you noticed how much force some martial artists can generate by simply kicking at something.
Though it would require more velocity to punch harder. Hmm, Hulk lifts over 100 tons, but his speed isn't that great. His punches wouldn't generate more pressure as the velocity wouldn't be so great, though I might be underestimating Hulk's punching speed.
Sorry for the offtopic shiz.

1. Remember the Rocky movie where Balboa fights Drago? Drago was said to have a punch of 2000 psi. I find it hard to believe that--given his superior, superhuman strength AND speed (both of which contribute to punching power)--Spiderman's punch would only be 6x greater. Even 10x would've been an underestimation.
2. Spiderman is said to be able to overhead press 10 tons (which would make him about 200x as strong as an average joe). Benchpress power is usually abut 50% stronger, so Spidey's bench would be more like 15 tons. Spidey would have to military press about 15 tons for his bench to be about 20 tons.
But wasn't his strength recently upgraded?
