thats a good point. i never thought of that when i watched it. i guess they thought they had such a good story they didnt mind a flaw in it.

As far as I remember, don't the balls only roll out once the visions are being studied? The echoes are deleted before this happens.
But in any case, Minority Report isn't actually 100% brilliant on its internal logic. It is best not to think too strongly about the continuity and sense of it all and just go with the mood.

it was a good movie, but i felt it kind of got drug out at the end, but i guess they couldnt of ended it any sooner otherwise the whole story wouldnt have been told.

i think this movie is just awesome. it gives such a crazy look at what the future could be like. but the 3 twins that can forsee crimes is kinda unrealistic, but everything else could be what it's like in our future. i think the movie was incredible and very clever
