That is the thing when planning before typing. You can only do it successfully when you have loads of time on your hands like Jo. You should think about the overall plot and a few details, but you should type off of your head. Not that it is all just meaningless. You should type off of your head in the direction you want to go. Because if you think everything out and you have an epiphany, there is almost no way to work it in if you are so far into the book.
Understand?
jk i love this story. actually i love the comments Barker and Mist make at each other, i have just spent all this time reading the posts and it cracks me up!

Mist is a doll.
And, believe it or not, I have 6 pages of summaries typed up, from Chapter 1 to Chapter 18, with a few more Chapters near the end planned out, ready for insertion into the final story once I get it. So, basically, I have until Halloween, 18 chapters, planned and typed out, with part of Christmas done. I have the end of the book planned, but not typed, along with whatever happens between Halloween and Christmas, and Christmas and the end.
Edit: See my next post.
I'm working on it.
Thank goodness for people with the surname of Barker.

Oh Syren.
Um.. Okay, so this is how I do my SotAMs.
First I think about whatever's going to happen, and put it on lined paper; Fortunately, I'm too lazy to put up a picture of this. Then I type it up in word, and nice and ****.
