Ah, come on BackFire.....you're not ugly. Maybe you need to change your signature....Leatherface (while a classic character of course) doesn't exactly give you a lot of self-esteem. And you know anybody who posts a pic here just gets some friendly teasing. Look how everybody picked on ToMacco's black socks....just a little fun. Nobody is gonna bash you if you don't look like a movie star. Which none of us do. Don't be so hard on yourself.
To comment additionally on Elephant Man...I think the fact that it was shot in black and white added to the dreariness and hopelessness of his life.
Ah, come on buddy.....Leatherface is one of kind. Like Michael Myers.
You don't have to post a pic if you don't want to, of course. But don't you dare let anybody tell you you're ugly. And don't even tell yourself that !! In the eyes of your Creator you're beautiful. And ultimately, thats all that matters.
If you believe in that...I mean, I do. I'm not trying to shove religion down your throat...okay ? Just trying to help ya out.
My pick was easy and it seems many agree its Requiem for a dream. I've said it before, I felt like someone had punched me in the gut after it was over. I think that film explains, or least in my case, the difference between sad and depressing. Yeah, I cry like a ***** with a skinned knee (like someone so fatasticlly put it) when I watch Savanah Smiles (No laughing please), but that's just sad. It could never put me in the funk Requiem did.
Just my Opinion.
BTW liked the reference to I Spit on Your Grave, backfire.
The tub scene could be the most depressing (Not to mention "sickest") scene I've ever seen.
