i heard the Dutch invented ice hockey during the middle ages.

i've also heard that the Greeks long ago played a type of field hockey game.

too many theories, but none of this matters in my opinion. i love the sport and hopefully the LA Kings make the playoffs big grin

The Dutch created the prerequisites for the game, but Canada truly invented it. Canada is currently the best, though Sweden and Finland have been very strong recently.
