I liked the triangle Kirk-Spock-Bones a lot.... I didn't quite see something of that calibre in the later series.

There's a number of episode about his feud with Will Wheaton, who's actually in it as sort of himself. Hilarious. Especially when he wants to beat him at bowling and calls his team 'The Wesley Crushers'... and there's a whole debate about the pronunciation to bring out the pun Sheldon intends effectively.

It's an excellent series. I don't watch a lot of sitcoms because they're often so predictable. But this one is pretty funny.
