I heard on the radio from an anger specialist that "releasing" your anger by doing something angry...like breaking dishes or throwing stuff at people as hard as you can, only encourages that type of behavior in the future and doesn't really help lessen angry outbursts...it encourages it.
However, I don't buy it. Not one little bit. Knowing that you can release your anger in a much more harmless way...I would think people would take sh** more and release that at the end of the week, they can release.

i totally agree that they should keep it from being a cruel sport and keep kids in classes or ranges. if kids don't want to play dodgeball, they shouldn't have to, of course.
Took the words right out of my "mouth." It's either dodgeball, or stairs.
If the dodgeball game is fierce, it can be everybit as taxing as a football game. (I mean more American footbal than "soccer" football, but both would apply.)
