What it showed. Kiddish feel, corn levels, etc. If the trailer left you with nothing then it is a bad trailer on that reason alone.

Yeah it had its quirks but it was still pretty predictable. It was a Fun movie, but still didn't really do anything that hasn't been done before.

This was a huge risk and not predictable at all. MCU took huge risks and made this thing work. Dceu showed it is not easy at all.

Every Movie is a Risk. Just look at the attempted Ghostbusters Reboot. That SHOULD have been a Sure Thing, but it wasn't. And GOTG was quite predictable. At least it was to those of us that have experienced many different types of stories. You just need to get out more.

So the MCU is amazing since they are 20 films in and doing amazing. No one else has ever done anything close to this proving the MCU is king.
