There's a lot of fake ex-Muslims popping out these days that try to defame the fastest growing Religion in the world (Subhanallah) because they're desperately trying to paint themselves as expert on a Religion that they know very little about. Most people to claim to be ex-Muslims are frauds, and even the ones who aren't frauds doubtful too. Whenever a Muslim leaves Islam, they're always leaving it for emotional reasons that have nothing to do with Islam, they never give logical reasons. I bet that they probably never even practised Islam to begin with.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I can totally see you converting to Islam and going balls deep into Muhammad's teachings within 10 years or so, Blind. Just need the right Imam to show you the way.
