According to Sessions, McCabe “lacked candor” and “wasn’t forthcoming”, this is why he was fired. Which is fair enough, but are we forgetting that Sessions also did the same when questioned by the FBI, as did several other members of the Trump admin. Why the floating standards.

This is factually incorrect, also Mueller cleared Sessions of any wrong doing and moved on. He was not recommend to be fired by neither him, the OIG, or the DOJ or the Office of Professional ethics.
