From what I read it was odd his bail was set at 50 grand if there was no reason to suspect the accusations were true.
And yeah I don't know much about restraining orders and what you need to get it. I would hope you can't just say, without proof, that someone is a danger to you and you need a restraining order.

Requirements are evidence you feel will get the order granted and:
"A person has abused you or threatened to abuse you..."
And abuse is defined in the packet as:
"Abuse means to intentionally or recklessly cause or attempt to cause bodily injury to you; or sexually assault you; or to place you or another person in reasonable fear of imminent serious bodily injury; or to molest, attack, hit, stalk, threaten, batter, harass, telephone, or contact you; or to disturb your peace; or destroy your personal property. Abuse can be spoken, written, or physical. (See Family Code §§ 6203, 6320)."
So there was clearly enough evidence of abuse. Since he was arrested, there had to be probable cause. Since the bail was set so high, the evidence had to be overwhelming.
Surt's just doing his usual clown routine. Avenatti makes Trump cry, so he's an "enemy". Surt doesn't give a shit if Avenatti was justified or not in attacking, he just wants to see him go down regardless of whatever the facts may be.
He seems to always have an excuse for every bad thing he does.
Judge: Your evicted for not paying rent for $213k
Avenatti: I was leaving anyways!! I will be fully exonerated!
LAPD: Avenatti arrested for felony domestic assault
Avenatti: She hit me first! I will be fully exonerated!
I liked the guy at first, he was a pretty good talker, but the more we learned, he seems like another charlatan. Him and Trump going back and forth was pretty good, but in the end of the day, hes pretty much just like Trump.
