Hammond's TP is so potent that he was able to casually(and I mean without exerting any effort whatsoever) overpower the collective group of Controllers, thereby severing their connection to the Darkstars:

And with an equal degree of ease, he telepathically manipulated a group of 'heroes' a bit earlier in the story:

*Note that Orion is among the group.

This implies that Hammond's TP has now evolved to such an extent that he can effortlessly overpower the telepathic protection granted by Orion's MotherBox(which he was previously unable to do):

...Which is absolutely staggering, tbh.

Didn't he also learn or was learning the "secrets of the universe" or some such? Not sure how it would help in mindraping prof X and I know it sounds a bit hyperbolic, but was quite impressive.

That's his standard level now. His mind/psionic powers are constantly evolving.

Context: the Controllers were focused solely on maintaining the telepathic link between themselves and the Darkstars(which is why Hal and Hammond were able to get so close to them without garnering their attention and getting attacked.) That's what Hal was referring to in that scan.

That said, Hammond severed their telepathic link with NO visible effort at all... And effortlessly kept it severed to allow the GL's enough time to beat the Darkstars:

Anyway you look at it, Hammond telepathically trounced the collective group of Controllers. Casually.

Yeah but how powerful are these controllers in rebirth? Thor, Phoenix force user, etc has fallen victim to Xavier's tp Before

In the same scan Hal states that the Controllers are some of the most powerful minds the GLC has EVER encountered.

doesn't really give me anything. are you willing to take a statement over beings with actual tp resistance feats?

Note that Hal said the Controllers have the most powerful minds the Corps has ever encountered. Hammond basically severed their link, casually. Insane.

Do I have a reason to assume Hal would lie in that situation?

Hector is clearly one of the most powerful psions on earth (as he battled several high end telepaths) and this is before he evolved. He's above the likes of Xavier or even Cassandra, IMO.

It proves that out of ALL the beings the GLC has EVER encountered(which essentially equates to the entire universe), the Controllers have among most powerful minds/TP.

...And Hammond overpowered them with basically no effort at all.

If he were to learn the secret of the Universe, he could potentially interact with the Source.

Thinking Dominus could.

He was essentially a cosmic level telepath who altered reality from thoughts. Only the Kryptonian "theta state" could really counter him (Which essentially alters the brainwaves, so Superman could control the mindscape in a tp dual)

That, or strong emotions like love. And since it's Professor X. genuine emotion from that ******* is NOT a concern.

Fair enough, i did say he and SG would still have to work for it. Maybe rape was the wrong word. IMHO those 2 are the only DC TPers pre 52 who would beat him for a clean majority.
