Guillermo del Toro is in talks to direct back-to-back installments of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit," which is being co-financed by New Line and MGM.

Good movie, however one little thing that I noticed that the monsters roar was a little different than it was in the previews, other than that the movie was very good.
Guillermo Del Toro?? why him? Pan's was good but his style just wouldn't suit middle earth.
I thought Peter Jackson was directing it?
All my respects to Mr. Del Toro, but peter Jackson has afar more suiting approach! After all, his guidance got the LotR movies those record-breaking Oscars..why change him?! Is Holywood not tired of the long list of fiascos already?

Haha, yes, vacations never seem as much fun as they suohld, especially if there's a long plane ride involved. I want to visit Australia and New Zealand someday, but the thought of spending that much time on a plane has kept me from making it happen thus far. It's good that you got to see your dad and catch up though!
