THE HUNTING OF THE PRESIDENT (2004) — documentary by Harry Thomason.
The Hunting of the President (Unrated, 2004) — Harry Thomason co-wrote and co-directed this documentary that looks at the efforts to discredit and bring down
President Clinton.
The documentary is based on the book by Gene Lyons and Joe Conason.
The movie makes a strong case that a group of conservatives did conspire to try
and discredit Clinton while he was in office and drive him from the White House.
The Fox Home Entertainment disc offers not only the feature, but a talk by Clinton
after a screening of the film.
At times, the conspiracy theories may seem to edge into paranoia, but the more
you watch, the more you come to believe all this was possible.
