Jamie Kennedy To Make 'In Northwood'

Jamie Kennedy is ramping up his producing efforts, signing on for the indie drama "In Northwood."
Nick Stahl will star in the film, a redemption tale centering on a man condemned to a mental hospital for committing murder. Kennedy described the project as taking place "at a moment when you're at a crossroads and have to choose what decisions you would make to survive."

I was the lead stand-in for Nick Stahl. I am also a Prison Guard in the film. This film has a huge list of big name actors for such a limited budget. I met Nick Stahl, Olivia Wilde, Dash Mihok, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Oscar Nominee and award winning Shohreh Aghdashloo (one of the most amazing woman I have ever met), Tariq Trotter (Black Thought from the group The Roots), and many others. This is going to be a great movie and was a wonderful experience for me. I was on set 19 of the 20 day shoot. When you get this up and close with a feature production, you get to see what goes into making a film as well as what it takes to make a budget deadline and still make an excellent film. The whole cast and crew was great to be around and work with. I even got to know the Director of Photography from all five Saw films, David A. Armstrong. It can be quite exciting being an extra so make sure you do it if you get a chance. Thanks goes out to Lyssa Brennan for helping me get this job and experience.
