Weinsteins Take On 'The Iron Lady'

U.S. rights to Meryl Streep's "The Iron Lady" have been picked up by The Weinstein Co., which plans to release the Margaret Thatcher biopic later this year.
"Lady" is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and co-stars Jim Broadbent as Thatcher's husband, Denis. The film, the second collaboration between Lloyd and Streep following "Mamma Mia!," is written by Abi Morgan and produced by Damian Jones.
