Synopsis: Exclusive Colby University educates the most privileged students, including Hadley and her friends--bulimic Julianne and sultry Sydney--who live in a posh row house just off campus. But poverty-stricken Alicia--who shares a dingy apartment with her mother--has only her intellect to get her through her college days, including an all-important sociology class senior thesis. At first rejected as a nerd, Alicia finally makes headway into Hadley's clique, but her introduction into a world of privilege and dangerous thrills may prove more costly than anyone might imagine.
