Overture Films Takes On 'Paper Heart'

Overture Films will release "Paper Heart," director Nicholas Jasenovec's faux documentary starring Michael Cera and real-life girlfriend Charlyne Yi.

The art-imitating-life comedy stars Yi and Cera as themselves, though in a fictional context. In the movie, Yi is directing a documentary about the meaning of love, traveling around the country conducting interviews on the subject, when she meets and strikes up a relationship with Cera. The movie's inventive premise helped it win the Waldo Salt Award for best screenplay in Park City.
