Evans, Hounsou, Fanning, Belle To 'Push'

Chris Evans, Djimon Hounsou, Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle are set to star in "Push," a supernatural thriller being directed by Paul McGuigan.
"Push," written by David Bourla, revolves around a group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities who hide from a U.S. government agency in Hong Kong. They must use their different talents and band together to try to escape the control of the division.

You post is interesting. However, I think it's a bit of a mienmosr that Black star power began with Will Smith. What about the time honored performers such as Sidney Portier, Diana Ross, Billie Holliday and even from earlier times such as Paul Robeson, Bessie Smith and Josephine Baker? Also, I'm not sure I agree with this idea of Black stars having to always be a credit to their race sort of thing. That's something out of the 1930s. Surely, we've progressed enough that a performer can BE a performer and not have to always be prefaced by race or have their actions limited to what they can do because of race?
