Jose Padilha Set For 'Robocop' Remake

Jose Padilha, the Brazilian director behind the gritty South American Elite Squad movies, is in talks to direct Robocop, the film project which is the reconstituted MGM’s top priority.

Robocop is remake of the 1987 sci-fi action film which introduced Paul Verhoeven to Hollywood and featured a cop who is brought back from the brink of death in the form of a cyborg with no memories of his prior life.

Didn't downtown BG .err ecxsue me, City Center already try this once? If memory serves, The District branding campaign fell flat several years back.
lol @ Land Before Time. wasnt that the cartoon abt drosnauis?.. probably was abt more than tho. pity i dnt remember much abt it =[ohoh wat abt The Notebook? i read in a magazine that guys were likely to shed a tear or two during that film. my brother in law liked that film. he recommended my sister to watch it.. funny coz it shuld be the other way around.. considering its abit more of a chick flick..
I really wish there were more aricltes like this on the web.
