Synopsis: This modern take on Shakespeare's Macbeth is set in a 1970s Pennsylvania diner and spotlights Mac and Pat McBeth, two restaurant workers stuck in dead-end jobs. When they hear of an idea that will revolutionize the fast-food industry, however, they hatch a plan that will solve all their woes. Eventually, it seems the happy couple has attained the American Dream of fame, fortune and french fries. But not all is as it appears. Mac has a break down, Pat becomes obsessed with a nasty burn spot on her hand and co-worker Anthony "Banko" Banconi and police lieutenant Ernie McDuff become suspicious.
