Hemsworth, Collins Join 'Star Trek 11'

Chris Hemsworth and Clifton Collins Jr. have joined the cast of Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek."

Hemsworth will play Captain Kirk's father, George Kirk. Collins will play Ayel, the cohort and general to Nero, played by Eric Bana.

Someone on Twitter mentioned that it remdeind them of X-Files, and now that I think about it, it really does. I agree with you about how it was interesting choice to go with the iconic ship and changed it. I think I would rather this be the teaser poster that came out a year ago, hinting at a new Star Trek, opposed to being released right before the movie comes out. Dennis Dennis

Agreed. This says X-Files to me. Or some kind of crazy new sort of like shape-shifting crazy-nuts ship. Not Star Trek. I don't think it would have even worked as a teeasr poster.
