Christian Bale In Talks For 'Terminator 4'

Christian Bale is in negotiations to star in "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins," the fourth installment of the hit science fiction series. McG is in negotiations to direct the movie, which is being made by the Halcyon Co. and will be distributed by Warner Bros.

"T4's" story, by David Campbell Wilson, John Brancato and Michael Ferris, focuses on John Connor (Bale), now in his 30s, as he leads what is left of the human race against the machines.

Christian Bale is the perfect choice for a John Connor role. I like that.
I still think he is signed on for Batman 3 after TDK. Question is; will he ever take that role the next proposed trilogy set of the Terminator franchise?

With Mr Bale I wouldn't rule ahtnniyg out.however.. is the director. The man who brought us Charlie's angels and its sequel. I'm trying to think of a director who made that sort of muck and managed to turn it around and make a decent movie and I can't.
