No Role For Schwarzenegger In 'Terminator 4'

Producer MORITZ BORMAN has revealed that Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is set before the famous fighting machine has been built.

“We’re keeping the script under very tight security,” Borman told Empire magazine. But Borman hinted that Californian governor Schwarzenegger could feature in two subsequent movies.

“It’s convenient that he hasn’t been built at this point of the story, as Arnold has more important things to do right now, but that doesn’t mean he might not re-appear later in the trilogy,” he said.

If this movie comes out with no Arnold, then I believe it will not be successful. It need Arnold, because the terminators are all arnold, it cannot be changed.

I do not think I would want to see this movie it Arnold does not reprise his role.

The movie is called 'Terminator' for christ sake and if there is no Arnold then there is no point in even making this film, what a joke!

hey , if there's no arnie theres no point of watchin it i want him in that movie plus Cameron didnt direct T3 and look how that turned out to be that got a girl to be the badie lol but it was still good i never heard of cg so i dont think the movie is gunna be that good we need arnie and cameron but i think its obvious now that its tooo late

I think the movie will suck without Arnold. he has the main role in all the movies, there is no point in making a new one if he won't be in it.

listen not all of the terminators will look the same but Arnie does need to be in the movie or it will suck, and he needs a major part. plus in T3 The terminator told John that he killed him in the future do to his past experiances with his model number, so Arnie has to be in this movie, if not a scene, or a future movie to come so maybe the directors should think about that.

I agree with everyone that the movie will not be the same. But it gives the producers a chance to keep the franchise going until Arnold is out of office and ready to do movies again. Besides, if this timeline is early enough, the T-101 wouldn't have been designed yet. Maybe the T-1 or T-70...pre-living tissue. Personally, I like the entire storyline, not just Arnold kicking the crap outta stuff smile
