Synopsis: When a beautiful and bold princess falls head-over-heels for a man who is her sworn enemy, Agis--the rightful heir to the Princess' stolen kingdom--she must break a few rules and even bend her gender to get close to him. She not only disguises herself as a young male scholar, she also tries to outwit Agis' life-long protectors: the rational philosopher Hermocrates and his scientific spinster sister Leontine, who have raised Agis to avoid all things romantic. With her powerful talent for seduction, however, the princess accidentally winds up engaged to three different people. Now, as she tries to unravel her wildly tangled web, she's forced to discover love's many strands, from deceit to sweetness and from cruelty to ecstasy.
