Hey Derek. I enjoyed the edsiope. Glad you liked Let the Right One In. Here's some things I learned about the movie after watching it that might be useful for you to know. First, in the book the dad is not gay but an alcoholic. That is what is supposed to be portrayed in the movie too. A lot of people thought he was meant to be gay, to the confusion of the director. I thought he was gay too for the record. Second, the "nude" shot was actually faked. It was either CG or a dummy, I can't remember which they said. Also, there is more to the story of Eli the vampire than was let on in the movie and which is fleshed out in the book. Did you noticed the scar in the area that was shown? In the book, as Eli was being turned into a vampire, he/she was also castrated. So Eli is actually a boy. I think there may be some deleted scenes from the movie somewhere that explains this.
