Synopsis: When Kim, George and their 8-year-old son Miles take a family trip to a country farmhouse, but along the way there's a fluke accident: their car hits a deer being pursued by hunters. After an argument ensues between George and an angry hunter, a sense of dread creeps into Miles' consciousness. Is it real or imagined when the Elder in the thrift shop tells Miles about the Wendigo, a ferocious winter spirit that shapeshifts from wind to tree to beast?
