I enjoyed the outstanding work of Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry is hailed as one of the most notable contributors to the entertainment industry of this generation. His comedic stage plays, and movie releases are rapidly sweeping audiences across the country. While most of Perry's stage plays, and movies have appealed mostly to African American audiences each new work by Tyler Perry becomes more, and more noticeable by racially diverse audiences. Tyler Perry is best known for his theatrical stage plays as "Madea's Family Reunion", "Diary of a Mad Black Woman", "I Can Do Bad All by Myself", and "Madea Goes To Jail" Perry is also best known for his comdiac portrayal as the no nonsense, and sassy Madea.

His newest release and box office success "Why Did I Get Married" is based on his stage play "Why Did I Get Married". In this new cinematic release Tyler Perry takes a giant leap when presenting us with a portrait of marriage through the lives of four effectual couples who meet yearly, and take a vacation to their beautiful Colorado mountain top cabin. While on this trip the lives of these married couples take on surprising twists of foes, hidden and shocking secrets, guilt, and pain that ultimately put their marriages to the ultimate tests of endurance. Will their marriages survive?

"Why did I Get Married" is a very good motion picture that is encompassed with an excellent ensemble of cast members that includes Tyler Perry himself. This movie offers a splendid, clean and heartfelt storyline with substance. Actors Jill Scott, Janet Jackson, and Tasha Smith deliver high level of energetic performances that practically steal the show. Tasha Smith delivers the perfect down to earth no nonsense role that's keeps the audience in endless laughter along with her co-star Jill Scott who steals the show with her tender role as an abused wife that is forced to give up her seat on a plane because she is too big to fit in one seat. She overcomes the odds of obesity, and self doubt when divorcing her abusive husband, and finding the man whose made for her.

One can look forward to a very enjoyable romantic motion picture in Tyler Perry's newest release "Why did I Get Married."

5 stars for this one, it's excellent.
