Echo Bridge Take On 'Beer League' Comedy
[Wednesday, December 7th, 2005]Echo Bridge Entertainment has bought the domestic rights to the comedy feature film Beer League, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The project, which stars Artie Lange, follows an unemployed underachiever (Lange) who plays in a small-town softball league in New Jersey with his ragtag group of misfit friends. When the team is threatened with permanent expulsion from the local league, they must rally and move from last place to first.
The cast also includes Ralph Macchio, Anthony De Sando, Cara Buono and Seymour Cassel.
