Halle Berry's Catwoman Plug Pulled?

A source at Cinescape is claiming that Warner Bros. are close to pulling the plug on Catwoman, which has Halle Berry attached to play the lead.

He said "It's stillborn," about the status of the production, which is supposed to start in September. But HollywoodNorthReport are still saying that "Catwoman is set to shoot at Lions Gate Studios from September 3 2003 - December 16 2003." The status may change if the scooper is accurate.

Also Batman On Film have sources reporting to them that the reason why Catwoman might go out of production if the character appears in Batman 5. Heres the report.

Catwoman is "still moving forward for all I know. But it wouldn't surprise me if they [WB--Jett] did pull the plug. It might have something to do with 'Batman.' If they use the character [Catwoman--Jett] in her own series, that will all but take her out of any future 'Batman' films. And there are some people at Warner Bros. against that."

Looks like that WB would sacrifice Catwoman for Christopher Nolans Batman 5. Check back for more updates on the situation.
