Nicole Kidman Talks Russell Crowe & 'Eucalyptus'
[Monday, December 20th, 2004]Nicole Kidman says she's very excited by the prospect of working with Russell Crowe in Fox Searchlight's Eucalyptus.
The two Australians joined the project, which sees a widower (Geoffrey Rush) plants hundreds of varieties of eucalyptus trees and then decrees that only a man who can name every one of them may marry his daughter Ellen (Kidman).
"It's a film very much about my country and I'm very excited to do it with Mr Crowe," Kidman told Ananova. "We've never worked together. We've obviously known each other for years and we've always wanted to work together. In a strange way it's good that this is a very small film, because otherwise it would have turned into a circus."
