Vin Diesel Explains '2 Fast 2 Furious' Absence
[Tuesday, April 8th, 2003]Vin Diesel has been speaking with Cindy Pearlman about why he will be absent from the upcoming sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious.
"It just didn't seem like a franchise film to me. Yes, I'd have made tons of dough, but for me that film just didn't warrant a sequel. The first film introduced a subculture. I don't think you can introduce something again," said Diesel.
He confirmed though that he will do the Pitch Black sequel and XXX.
