Terrence Howard and Allen Payne have been added to the cast of the urban ensemble indie feature "From the Outside Looking In" for writer-director Jerry LaMothe, who will also star in the film, reports

Production is scheduled to begin in September in Brooklyn with Isaiah Washington, Mos Def, Wood Harris and Monica Calhoun also starring.

"Outside" is described as a coming-of-age story centering on a young man named Chris (Payne), who narrates the chronicles of his past 20 years growing up with his four best friends (Washington, Mos Def, Harris and LaMothe) in Brooklyn. Calhoun plays his love interest. Howard will play Chris' brother.
