I don't think that the driving motive behind the fics writer about Harry and Draco getting together is the physical atraction or the sex. But my opinion is rather the writers are fascinated by the two diferent natures, or worlds that Harry and Draco represent. The unity of the two worlds would mean a lot in terms of power and passion, like Jing and Jang.
I'm fascinated by such unity, I would prefer Hermione and Draco, But as Rog said everyone is entitled to opinion so I don't mind it!

The author has made it clear that Draco is NOT Tom Felton (by implication Draco is uglier) It might be an unnattractive spectacle therefore.
