It may not be 'Sith' surgeons, maybe it's just surgeons that work for the Empire.

It would be difficult to sustain hair when you've just been BURNED BY LAVA.

perhaps anakin just wanted a new look.
he realised that the whole long hair thing was getting old.
besides, having hair and wearing that helmet all the time leads
to massive hat-head, right?

hes far taller as a machine, and it was stated that his suit makes him taller.
by that, i take it he IS the suit.

grievus was described as the "darth vader prototype" and he is nothing more than a head plugged into a machine.

vader's right hand is sliced off in ep6, revealing a cluster of wires, nothing
like the metal skeleton-like hand at the end of ep2.

so yes barakuchi, i would bet the farm that vader's left arm is also mechanical,
as well as his legs, torso, ...etc.

so it will be sliced of (in EPIII)..urm the left arm.

i think his limbs will be burnt to a crisp as opposed to being hacked off.
i just cant picture obiwan conciously trying to hack anakins limbs.

After a leaked photo I saw of Anakin after the burns, I am pretty sure Anakin will have his leg severed by Obi-Wan, fll into the lava, and yes, lose his hair.

If he does lose his hair, it may free him up to concentrate on being a better actor.
