That is Neo, he looks like he is contacting Sparks so Niobe and Ghost can rescue him from the Matrix (thats my hypothesis) And yeah anyways we all know that Smith corrupts the Matrix, look in Reloaded.

For those of you that were complaining about not seeing Smith...

I think it's smith, remember in the matrix cypher says that looking at the coding now he just sees bloinde, brunette, red head so if Smith has taken over every1 in the matrix then the coding will be buildings and birds and weather and smith. So maybe they are just trying to show that Smith has infected the system.
