billylover: the pm icon is for people to send pm's to you. the search icon is for people to search your previous posts. on my comp, if i place the pointer on it, a lil thing comes up of the label of the name of it. now back to topic!

the edit button is for you to edit your post. you can only edit your own posts, no one elses. if you push that button too many times to edit someone elses by accident too many times, you can't edit your posts no longer. happened to me. accidents, damn it! quote is to quote what someone said and comment on that specific comment.
