"Oh, when is she coming?"
"Mom, what's wrong? Aren't I going to stay with you?"
Kara laughed and looked back down at her after staring at the door for 20 minutes. "Oh, yes. Of course! I would never let you go. Though, there's still the problem of you growing up and we having you if you're already here."
Kyla sniffled. "Ok, the day before I'm born, I'll leave."
"Oh, Kyla dear. We love you! I don't want you to go, but you must, or else it would create all sorts of problems."
Kara laughed stiffly. "Well, you see, it's complicated. Kyla... Kyla's my daughter. Well, my future daughter. You see..."
Kara started to ramble until Jay coughed into his hand. Kara laughed again stiffly and sweatdropped. "Jay? Do you want to explain?"
"Sure. Well, Ky over there, who's Kara's sister, is a mutant. He can travel through time. He went to the future and met Kyla here. Being the lovestruck boy he was, he brought her back here. The truth is, Kyla's our future daughter."
