"he's just so cute! He was alone when I found him as a baby. No parent or anything; kinda like me." Smiling now, Kyla looked up. "Except, now, my parents are back."
Kyla giggled. "No, silly. Dragons are mythical creatures. The closest thing we have is a seahorse called Hatori. He's so kind and caring. It seems like he heals himself. He can not see out of one eye..." Kyla whispered the next part in his ear. "You see, there was a fight. Another sea horse did not like Hatori's choice of partner, so it tried to hurt it. Hatori blocked it, but was wounded as a result. It's a touchy subject as Hatori's partner left him soon after, because it couldn't bear to see that it caused Hatori harm." kyla started crying sadly at the story.
Kyla smiled at him very kindly. "ok, but Ri is very shy. If he does something wrong, he goes into this withdrawn phase, so be careful with him. If you need help, just ask me." Kyla went into her room and withdrew a small, light goldish brown monkey. "he is so sweet. I'm sure you'll love him." She softly placed Ri in John's arms and stepped away.
