Cassandra sighed, then didn't say anything and turned her gaze towards the lake. As much as she didn't want to talk about him, she finally answered, "Scythe...."

Cassandra slowly smiled, "Yes, he sure was. Jake had a rough childhood, but i'm glad that he was intelligent and had enough common sense to earn himself a better place in life."

Rowan flipped back into his window and went to sleep.

'Gosh. Do they ever shut up?'

Rowan couldn't sleep.

Nalia looked at the window where Rowan is asleep in

He was dreaming about Nalia.
