Damian looked at him with a smirk, "Yah right man! Your so lying!"

Darrien grinned, "No, I'm not shitting you. I am fifty, but just a bit younger than Logan was."

"Wow man..so, your powers looking young?" Damian chuckled.

"Yeah, in a way. Logan and I both had been given the healing factor," the latter answered. "Stab me."

Damian looked at him,"Uh...ok.." Damian took the knife he had been using to eat and jabbed it into Darrien's chest hard. Damian looked at Darrien's face worried.

Darrien grimaced a little, but brought a hand up and managed to pull it out. A small trickle of blood flowed from the wound and knife. Everyone looked on in utter horror. Then, Darrien closed his eyes and concentrated on sealing the vessels and broken skin tissue. The bleeding soon stopped, and left a small gash left with no blood gushing out. Darrien sat back in his chair as the cut sealed up and the skin smoothed out within a matter of seconds.

Grinning, "So what you think?"

Damian looked on in awe, "woa...if only I could do that...then maybe I could actually use my powers..." Damian scowled

Darrien arched an eyebrow at Damien, "How did you get your powers then? Experimentation or just plain born wit' them?"

"Born with them...they came around when I was 14, the first time I used them I vomited and passed out from the shear pain and nauscia of using them. Supposedly my body works on energy, and when I expel that energy it comes out as dangerous, but by expelling it from my body I lose alot of what would be like blood to you all, so it causes me great pain until my body can restore the amount lost when I expelled it..," Damian sighed, "I can't use my powers for long without passing out...or dying...."

"Hmm...Xavier used to have a way of fixing that..."

"Who?" Damian asked, sounding desperate

"He was the man who headed the X-Men," answered Darrien. "You have heard them haven't you?"

Damian shook his head, "We didn't have a TV in the orphanage, so I never really heard any news of the outside world.."

"The X-Men were a group of mutants who fought for mutant rights and to creat piece between meta-humans and one's who weren't. That was Xavier's dream, but it sadly never happened with the whole Stryker thing."

All the while they were talking, Argyle thought about what Cassie said. He took the moment to talk to Cassie while the others were all transfixed on Damian and Darrien's conversation. "Hey Cassie, you think you could use some company on your trip to San Francisco?"

Damian sighed, "Let me gues.....Xavier's dead right..?" Damian scowled, "Hope is always dead....."

"There is always hope...," Darrien said, trying to cheer the boy up. Turning to Scott, "Do you know where Hank or Forge is these days?"

Damian sighed, returning to his food, scarfing it down and then getting up and heading into the living, flipping on the TV. He surfed around and stopped on a music video, laying back with his eyes closed, listening to it.

Darrien followed the down trodden boy into the living room and bloped down on the floor and leaned on the couch. "Hey, Damien. I was thinking of either getting Forge or Hank to help you. They are great with gadgets..."
