That right there is a very big problem. Don't be afraid of rejection. It's probably one of the most irrational fears a person can have. Seriously, what do you have to lose? If you're asking yourself those questions, that means you don't have enough self confidence. So what if you get rejected. It's not big deal and you shouldn't dwell on it.

true i tihnk more my problem is fear of failure after i would ask which prevents me from asking in the first place
