I cry over animal abuse stories.
My friend told me a story about meeting this woman who was carrying a kitten around clasping it to her shoulder. Well my friend was confused by why on earth someone would bring a kitten into the store where my friend worked. She thought the lady had some "issues." So the lady went up to the counter to pay and the kitten came up in conversation. Because the lady was holding the kitten to her my friend hadn't noticed that it was missing a hind leg. It's original owners had chopped it off...The lady adopted the kitty from the humane society with only 3 legs and carried it everywhere and talked to it so it wouldn't be afraid. 🙁
