what was that picnic though

A few faces turned and I saw the group to be comprised of the regular crowd that frequented the GDP. Most people had a grim look on their faces while others were full of rage and disgust. There was one face however, that was just utterly devastated. It belonged to the one person who liked to stick to me like gum to the underside of your shoe.

“They closed it, Elly!” Reese cried out throwing his arms out to try and embrace me.

I sidestepped gracefully and he ended up kissing the pavement.
