went to germany in 2006 and i spoke it generically.. but i forgot it. only took me 2 months to learn and about 2 weeks of drinking and no longer caring to forget.

i think german, french and italian are the easiest languages to learn on the spot.

a pair of head phones and translation software and i am speaking it in a few weeks and in a couple of months fluently and reading it..
