Hmm. Well, I was hungover this morning so I skipped my Advanced Calculus class. I also skipped my probability class. But it's kinda pointless. Russian and Western Civ went well though.
That's good....you are studying History or Languages, right? Not Maths or Physics or anything...

Probability seems like it would be good to go to. Can't say teh same about Calculus. I hated Calculus. Very annoying shit.
History is fun though.

Well, we have not yet gotten to the "real" calculus part of it yet. We're currently setting the foundation by finding the limits of sequences. And then proving the result.
I like history. It's been a while since I've had a history class. I enjoy just being able to relax and listen while the teacher talks about the Punic Wars.

Well it's advanced Calc though so I'm surprised you didn't just jump into the gayness of it. So that's good.
Everyone should like history. It's just awesome and mostly pretty random shit.

Sometimes wars bring about an accelerated expansion of knowledge. Not that I'm condoning pointless wars...

i dont argue that war is responsible for scientific advancement.. i a war man,,, i question the morality of experimenting on unsuspecting ppl and not being arrested charged for it.like the syphilis and radiation trials on civilians and unborn children which parents did not condone or were aware of.
Hmm, I see.
i can give you more examples if you like from the 30's to at least 2001.
how about the botch polio vaccine which was done by shotty monetary cuts and lazy scientific standards of a nazi scientist given immunity to by united states.
he used the wrong species of primate and somehow mutated some unknown X factor. the government and scientist were made aware of this and instead of destroying the batch they shipped it overseas to africa to test it and see the results... the prevalent believe is that is what caused the aids something our government refuses to acknowledge as a possibility but others see it as such,...
a more modern example is that congress had to step in make it illegal to use soldiers as guinea pigs b/c the united states was using experimental vaccines and ordering soldier to take them without informing them all to see the side effects.. anthrax experiment.
