youre applauding someone who sleeps around?
sure, why not? why dont you go ahead and praise her borther for beinh addicted to drugs as well
might as well, you know?
I'm applauding someone who has the will to live out their sexual desires despite the ridiculous stigma associated with it, yes.
I don't blame someone for being addicted to drugs, but it's ridiculous to parallel that.

I agree in theory, I think people should be neither blamed nor applauded for it. Describing women who do though as whores or sluts, is a negative image and should not be done.

well what do you expect me to call her?
i didnt want to go into a huge explanation of the deal and went with the quick and easy word one uses to describe such a person, a whore
**** sounds worse than whore, imo aweherm
I agree. How about promiscuous though? You are a writer...use a thesaurus or something.

why cant i say whore?
why do i have to say "promiscuous?"
whats the big deal with it?
its not like youre a woman or anything, so it shouldnt matter
i just dont like beating around the bush, you should be able to just flat out and say shit without being criticized for it ffs
either way, the words youre saying are harmful, whether you beat around the bush and dance around the word or not, youre hurting people
same with using long words like "promiscuous" instead of shorter simpler ones like **** and whore
It's objectifying. It lowers a woman for a behavior that men are praised for. It's completely sexist language, and on top of all it doesn't even mean what you think it means.
And me not being a woman is of no matter, sexism impacts us all, much like racism, and should be avoided and fought by everyone.
And are you serious about the last statement? Obviously you should not. Perhaps you should be able to say everything (withing limits even if you believe in freedom of speech) but it should be everyone's right to criticize what is said. Again, it's not because you are "not beating around the bush", it's because you use sexist and inadequate language to describe something.
And I disagree, promiscuous does not have the same connotations as whore does. It has some negative ones, but it's not nearly as bad.
